Hi.

2 questions really, so here goes:

I have a desktop that is running win 2k, and i got a usb wireless card which is compatable with 2k and installed it, but its showing up as another lan card on the taskbar&network connections but in device manager it shows up as a wireless card so i can't connect to the network coz it wants an ethernet kable hehe.

Any ideas?

Also, in the room that i have at school me and another person have a few comps, they could all have internet acsess if they had to, but we really don't know what to do with them, here are the specs:

Desktop 1:

p2 400 mhz

128 mb ram

6.4 gb harddrive

Did run ubuntu linux and pupy linux but i am putting xp pro on it as i write coz it couldn't find the sound drivers in linux.

Desktop 2, mine that is also just sitting there coz i use a lappy:

p3 733 mhz x2

512 mb ram

40 gb harddrive

currently running win 2k and puppy linux.

Spare laptop (only has wireless b)

p3 500 mhz

192 mb ram

10 gb harddrive

My school lappy that i hardly ever use (also only wireless b)

selleron 2.0 ghz

256 mb ram

30 gb harddrive

running windows xp pro&ubuntu linux.

So... yeah, lots of comps, not doing anything.
Can anyone think of anything prodoctive and fun that we can do with them?

Thanks, BEN.
